What Palau e-residency offers :
ID
Legal government-issued ID
You will receive physical ID card + digital ID for connected services.
ID can be used for: KYC exchanges, ID checks, hotels, trips, check-ins, etc.
There might be additional add-on services in the future for digital residents of Palau. They are not fully functional yet.
Costs
Application fee
You can choose to apply for 1 year, 5 years and 10 years of validity.
Fee ranges from $248/year up to $2039 for 10 years.

Time frame
Issuing ID cards
Approving application takes about 2 weeks.
Printing and making an ID takes around 2-4weeks. Plus shipping time.
Cons / in development:
Proof of address
Virtual address is not available yet, but they claim it should roll out soon.
It should be in the way of add-on and have a virtual proof of address.
There should be an option to pay for utility bill and have a physical-ish proof of address in Palau. Or pay for physical address provider.
No citizenship
Republic of Palau does not allow to become citizen, only Palauans may hold the citizenship.
Taxes
There is a 0% tax from Palau on non-Palauran income for digital residents. However it is important to mention that becoming tax resident requires to stay in the country for more than 183 days / year plus you have to have center of interest there.
