Most visitors want Plan B residency, a Tax-Free Setup, or asset protection. If you are unsure, book a free call and we will tell you which one fits.
We ask about your citizenship, current residency, business, family situation, and goals. Then we explain the most realistic path, what may not work, and what the next step would cost and require.
It depends on the route. Paraguay residency is filed in one planned visit after we prepare the file. Panama depends on how the residency is processed, but most cases need a second visit for the cédula. Companies and foundations can be done fully remotely. We tell you what travel is involved before you book anything.
Yes, in some cases. US citizens can be a fit for Plan B Paraguay residency, but the standard Tax-Free Setup usually is not, because US tax rules apply to citizens worldwide. We will tell you what is realistic before you commit.
We collect only what the case needs and share it only with the people required to deliver the work, including the local legal team on the case and the tools we use to book and run it. We never publish client identities or details without explicit permission. Case studies stay anonymized.

Plan B

Plan B residency

Plan B is preparation for a crisis. You may never need it, but if you do, you will be glad you have it. The moment a crisis hits, it is no longer Plan B. It is Plan A. If you do not have it ready, you risk running out of time to get the documents, for the reasons described above.
  • Citizenship: Gives you the right to hold a passport and enjoy full legal rights in a country, including voting.
  • Residency: Allows you to legally live in a country and may provide access to many local benefits, but it does not grant full citizenship rights such as voting in presidential elections.
  • Tax residency: Where you owe tax. That is not the same as a residence card. Paraguay can often be kept as a tax base without living there full-time. Panama is a different picture. We sort this on the call.
Paraguay is an accessible Plan B residency with no locked capital. One short trip is enough, and documents can be mailed. It fits if you want minimal conditions to keep it, a simple tax residency, or a geographically resilient backup. The process and the conditions keep changing, and they get a bit harder every year.

Panama is a coastal Plan B in a dollar economy, with banks and legal structures that welcome and protect capital. It is still a bit more developed. Paraguay is growing fast, so that may not last much longer. Most routes lock up real capital and take two trips. If geographic safety is your priority, Paraguay is the better choice.

You describe your lifestyle and what you want from Plan B. We recommend the country that makes sense in your case.
Usually no. Paraguay temporary residence requires a short visit each year. Panama depends on the visa. The exact rules are on the Paraguay residency and Panama residency pages. If you are unsure, book a call with us and we will help you decide.
We know this is not an easy decision. The best next step is to book a free call. We will tell you Paraguay, Panama, a combo, or neither.

Tax-Free Setup

Tax-Free Setup

Yes, it is possible under certain conditions, though not everyone can meet them. It depends on your citizenship, how mobile you are, what income you have and where it comes from, the nature of your business, and whether you can keep the structure in place.

On the call we need to go through the specifics of your lifestyle and the nature of your work. Based on that, we can give you a definite answer.

For people who earn independently of where they are and want Paraguay tax residency, a US LLC, and the whole structure turnkey. The service is not for everyone, because relatively few people can meet the conditions to get and keep this structure. The most common clients are digital nomads and, more generally, people who work online. On the call we explain whether the service is right for you.
We can arrange the residency in one visit. With temporary residency, plan a short visit each year. After you get permanent residency, you have to visit Paraguay at least once every three years.
No. US citizens are taxed on worldwide income no matter where they live. Because of that, they cannot reach the same tax result as citizens of other countries. They can still get Paraguay residency as a Plan B, and the tax situation can be optimized another way. This package will not work for them.
In most cases the package costs $6,590. It includes the listed Paraguay residency and RUC work, US LLC and EIN formation, banking guidance, and the listed virtual-address, lease, and registered-agent services for the first year. Further advice that is not part of this package, optional add-ons, a later switch to permanent residency, and services after the first year are charged separately. Before we start, we confirm the full scope.
