Who is responsible
Hacking Lives operates this website and decides how the personal data collected here is used. For any privacy request, write to [email protected].
What we collect
Book a call: your name or nickname, email address, the message you write, the page you sent it from, and your chosen language. If you arrived through a partner link, the referral code as well.
Scheduling: the time slot you pick and the details you enter in the calendar, including your message, which we pass on so the call can be prepared.
Newsletter and events: your email address, language, and the event you register for.
Technical data: IP address, browser, and device information processed by our hosting, security, error monitoring, and analytics providers.
Why we use it
To answer your request and prepare and run the call you booked. This is necessary to take the steps you asked for before any contract.
To send you reminders and practical follow-ups about that call. We rely on our legitimate interest in completing what you started, and you can opt out at any time.
To send you updates and offers only if you ticked the box or subscribed. This is based on your consent, which you can withdraw with one click in any email.
To protect the forms from abuse, keep the site running, and understand how it is used.
Who processes it for us
HubSpot stores our contact and deal records. Cal.com runs the booking calendar. Google reCAPTCHA protects the forms and Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics measures site usage. Sentry collects technical error reports. Our email provider delivers reminders and newsletters.
When you become a client, we share the documents needed for your case with the licensed local lawyers and providers who execute it, and only what each of them needs.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers process data in the United States or other countries. Where that happens we rely on the provider's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised safeguard.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and client records for as long as the conversation or engagement is active and as long as accounting and legal obligations require. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. After that we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you are in the EU or EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We update this page when our tools or practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
